Overhaulin’ Applications on Hold

Foose Design has temporarily stopped accepting applications for Overhaulin’, claiming that the show is off-season. The site advises viewers to “check back soon”, but details remain fuzzy about the show’s future.

The link to the show’s application has been removed, so all links from Overhaul-me.com are also dead for the time being.

We’ll keep checking for news in hopes that the show returns. As always…keep those fingers crossed!

Foose at Career Day

The fine folks over at the Hub Garage have posted a new series of videos featuring a few of the car world’s finest speaking at a career day for automotive students in Detroit.

In this clip, Chip Foose talks about his start in the Hot Rod world, as well as his inspiration and influences. Of particular interest to fans of Overhaulin’, Foose mentions (at the very end of the clip) that he anticipates that the show may resume filming new episodes in June!:


Top Shops: “Passion” Revealed

The folks over at HubGarage.com have recently started producing a great web-based show called Top Shops where they travel the country and visit the best hot rod and custom builders around.

The latest episode features Overhaulin’ co-host and Hub-spoksman Chris Jacobs taking a trip out to Manteo, IL to visit one of the top shops in the world, Rad Rides by Troy.

In part one of the series, Chris talks to shop owner Troy Trepanier about a few of the famous rides to come out of the shop, as well as what it’s like to shoot for 300mph on the salt at Bonneville. (More videos to come each week this month).
